What you Can Expect at Your Appointments and The History of Energetic Herbalism
“One dis-ease, many patterns, one pattern, many dis-eases.” a quote from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am offering assistance in defining your individual energetic pattern and matching it with the energetics of herbs. Plants have various energetic qualities. Determining which plants to use by matching the plants energetics with the energetic needs of the client, is an important part of how to use herbs to aid in balance.
After I match the patterns , I will create a formulation of herbs to help you achieve balance. These formulations come with instructions for preparation or I can make some types of formulas for you. Appointments are available to guide you in making your herbal allies. Follow-up appointments are useful for checking in on your journey and changing your herbal formulation if necessary.
I will provide you with an intake form through email. Please print the form , fill it out and bring it with you to our first meeting. Meeting one on one provides me the opportunity to come to an understanding of an individual that is deeper and different from what is obtained by reading an intake online. It facilitates us in determining if we will work well together.
The use of herbs for health and well-being is an ancient practice. Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic medicine are systems from the far east that are thousands of years old and still used in modern times. Hippocrates, Galen, and Paracelsus were physicians from ancient Greece and Rome that used herbs for healing. Hildegard of Bingen was a German Benedictine Abbess that practiced energetically informed herbal medicine around 1100A.D. The Physio-medicalists (1800’s) and herbalists such as Maude Grieves (early 1900’s) were practitioners in the U.S. and Britain. Their work was used as a basis for Traditional Western Herbalism. These systems all used energetic assessment of people and the energetics of plants to attain health and balance.
